The questions many of our clients ask

Q.  We know that you analyze students' previous-year STAR results to give us a list of remediation standards.  Are your lists giving us their weak standards from last year or their current content standards for this year.

A.  We are giving you the content standards to be remediated for this year based upon this year's curriculum.  You don't even have to consider last year's standards.  Through a very complex process discussed in our methodology, UltraScore gives you the remediation standards for the current year's curriculum.  Here are two examples.

  1. We examine the record for a student who was in grade 5 last year and who is in grade 6 for this year according to your most recent enrollment file.  UltraScore gives you the grade 6 ELA standards for this student for this year.
  2. We examine the Algebra I record for a student who took the Algebra I CST in grade 9 last year.  Your enrollment file tells us the student is taking Geometry this year in grade 10.  UltraScore gives you the Geometry CST remediation standards for this particular student for this year.
