Money-Back Guarantee 

2011-2012 Testing Cycle

 

Within 30 days of the announcement of final API and AYP results by the California Department of Education, EdTech Associates shall issue a refund by check for each and every target not met by a client school, subject to the formula, conditions and exclusions below.

 

Formula

Refund = (Full purchase Price)  X (Targets not met / Total number of Targets)

 

Conditions 

1.  Client school must comply with our accountability oversight system to insure that participation rates do not fall below 95% AYP and 85% API. 

2.  Client school must comply with our accountability oversight system to insure that selected students are given required hours of supplementary small-group instruction in the specific standards recommended for the individual students. 

3.  School administrator must certify that he has read and understands all of the study’s Administrative Alerts and Administrative Warnings and that he has made the best good-faith effort to implement  the study’s Administrative Alerts and Administrative Warnings. 

4.  CDE API designations of N/A, ‘*’, A, B, C, D, E in place of target result shall be deemed to be a ‘target met’ for the purposes of the refund calculation.  CDE AYP designations of CA, CI, CK, CP, DA, EN, ER, G1, G9, KC, OT, PS, SH, UE, Y2, Y3 in place of target result shall be deemed to be a ‘target met’ for the purposes of the refund calculation.   

  

Exclusions

This guarantee shall be null and void, and no refund shall be made in case of any one or more of the following: 

1.  Gross testing irregularities as identified by the CDE, STAR, or CAHSEE

2.  Failure of client school to administer STAR and/or CAHSEE

3.  A CDE report of either no API score or no AYP score

   

A Couple of Particulars 

  1. A signed copy of this money-back guarantee will be included in your study. 

  2. Your individualized study will include a complete list of the targets your school is required to make.  Most schools have approximately 20-30 targets.
